  the floor waste, main perimeter (wall to floor)
  joints and main vertical (wall to wall) joints to
  a suitable depth.
• The exclusive AllGrout product is then applied
  and used as a grout replacement.
• The deteriorated and mouldy shower screen
  silicone is removed.
• The AllFlex silicone product is applied to the
  shower screen inside perimeter.
• Existing wall grout being cleaned and a clear
  penetrating sealer applied. .

Why does my shower leak? A shower or balcony
generally leaks due to the deterioration of grout
or silicone. This is largely caused by the minor
building movement or settling in the main
perimeter joints of your shower recess or balcony
area. The use of silicones or water based liquid
penetrating sealers claim to solve the problem,
they are mere stop gap or short term fixes.
How long before I can use my shower again? Upon
completion of the AllSealedWA shower service, the
recess can be used again after a short 24 hour
period.

Do I need to remove all the tiles in my
shower? No. In most cases tiles are not the cause
of the leaking shower or balcony. The grout and
silicone joints are. Therefore, AllSealedWA can
skilfully remove the grout/silicone from the
joints and replace using our exclusive AllGrout
or AllFlex products.
How long does the service take to be completed? A
standard shower service can be completed in
approximately 3 hours. This time may slightly
vary depending on the scope of works required.
What is your turn around time? From acceptance of
the quotation, AllSealedWA will aim to have a
technician onsite within 3-4 working days at a
mutually agreed day and time.

Compression Valve - A compression valve or
faucet is one which has two valve knobs, whereby
one brings in cold water and the other one is for
hot water supply. The washers and rubber seals
present in compression valves normally wear out
causing water to come through the movable parts.
A compression valve can be repaired by disbanding
the faucet and replacing the faulty washers and
rubber seals. The plumber needs a faucet washer
kit which has all the parts required for repair
work.
Delta Shower Valve - If the shower repairs
involve a Delta shower faucet that is leaking,
the handle has to be removed to expose the
cartridge. The plumber then removes the cartridge
and cleans the faucet area with a rag to remove
any deposits. A new cartridge is firmly put in
place and the handle is placed back in its proper
position.
