Euro Steel and BBBEE

• Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment is a form
  of economic empowerment initiated by the South
  African Government in response to criticism
  against narrow based empowerment implemented in
  the country in 2003-2004.
• In March 2006, Euro Steel sold 25.1 stake of
  their business to the BEE group Isitali
  Consortium to improve the living conditions of
  the first inhabitants and tribes of South Africa.
