Quicken for Windows

• You have to go through the following steps to pay
  and receive bills
• In Quicken software click on tool menu on the
  top. In the tool menu select Quicken Bill Pay
  option and then click Pay Bills in Quicken.
• Now you have to choose the person or company you
  want to pay.
• Enter the amount you want to pay and select the
  date on which you want to pay.
• Click Enter button. This will prepare the payment
  you want to send.
• Now click on the Send/Update button. It will
  update your payment so that it can be processed
  further for the date you have requested.

• Using Quicken Bill Pay to pay bills
• Pay bills with Direct connect

Using Quicken Pay Bill to pay bill

• You may have different account. Select one you
  want to use pay bills. On the bottom toolbar,
  click the button to add new transaction
• To open the transaction, click on Edit Details
  button. A new tab called Online Payment will
  appear. Click on Online Payment tab and then
  click on the Online Payment checkBox on the top
  left
• Now enter the name of payee. In the dropdown menu
  click on Add New Online Payee. This will add the
  name of Payee in the list of Payee.
• Now enter all the necessary details to pay bills.
  Click done when finished.
• Now select the date on which you want pay.
• When you are finished with this, Click on pay now
  button so that transaction can be created.
• The transaction will marked as open envelope icon
  in the register. It means your transaction is
  ready to be sent.
• To send the payment to the bank, click on update
  button. Once the payment is sent the transaction
  will marked as close envelope icon
• When the amount is paid, the close envelope icon
  will become blue.

Pay Bills with Direct connect

• The steps of Pay Bill with direct connect are
  exactly same as Quicken Bill Pay. The difference
  only you have to confirm the type of connection
  first and stay it in Direct connect. These are
  the following step to check the connection type
• Select the account you wish to use.
• Click on the setting button.
• Check the connection type
• If it shows direct connect then you skip it and
  directly access.
• If it shows Quicken connect, then you have to
  change it to Direct connect.

Pay Bills from Quicken Website
