PERMANENT PARTIAL DISABILITY
Permanent partial disability benefits are paid to
workers who have a permanent physical impairment
but are able to return to some type of
employment. These benefits are paid to the
injured worker based on a disability rating
provided by the authorized treating physician or
a wage difference claim if able to return to work
at a lower rate of pay.

PERMANENT TOTAL DISABILITY
If a worker is unable to return to any kind of
employment following an on-the-job injury, he or
she is entitled to permanent total disability
benefits. These benefits are defined as
two-thirds of the workers wages for a period up
to 500 weeks from the date of injury or longer,
depending on the injury. Entitlement to benefits
is subject to the workers restrictions, job
experience, training and available jobs in the
area. https//mynclawyer.com/workers-compensation/
