How to reduce Green Waste
HOW TO REDUCE GREEN WASTE
  • Purchasing only as much soil as you need for the
job. This will help to prevent excess material
    from accumulating.
  • Planning carefully what to plant can also help to
reduce green waste. This will reduce the excess
    plants being leftover.
  • Creating a landscape design, which requires
little or no maintenance can be a great way to
    reduce waste and water usage.

6
How to reuse Green Waste
HOW TO REUSE GREEN WASTE
  • Leaving the clippings on the lawn when mowing.
This quickly decomposes and returns valuable
    nutrients to the soil.
  • Using grass clippings and leaves as compost.
  • Collecting the wet leaves after rain and leave
them to decay. This forms a mulch which can be
added to the soil to help fertilise it.
