SNC reinforced shell SNC is Arais most advanced
shell construction using special proprietary net
strands that bond shell layers even more rigidly.
The SNC technology reduces shell weight, while
providing a lower center of gravity, resulting in
better balance and reduced rider fatigue.
Ventilation Diffuser ventilation system offers
enhanced adjustable intake and exhaust ports for
increased airflow and reduced wind turbulence.
The middle-intake slot creates an accelerated
venturi effect for faster venting of stale air.
Effective, lower side vents reduce wind noise en
prevent buffeting. Three-position chin vent
(including demist function). Unique Arai brow
vents guide fresh air to the temples and forehead
area.

Arai RX-7V Haslam Black
VAS (Variable Axis System)
Arai uses a net structure core, assembled and
bonded within Super Fiber and other special
synthetic fibers. These special fibers are also
used for the visor panel of F-1 helmets and have
superb characteristics in tensile strength and
flexibility. Our shells are carefully molded with
multiple material layers including a Super Fiber
belt across the helmet, just above the visor
opening for extra strength. We have also
developed a new resin in pursuit of a lightweight
but very strong shell.

Chaser-X is the third Arai helmet that makes use
of the new VAS (variable Axis System) technology
that offers a significant larger and smoother
shell area above the SNELL test line greatly
improving the important helmet glancing off
performance.  The Chaser-X makes use of an also
completely new ventilation system derived from
the RX-7V, instantly recognizable by the large,
single intake duct on top of the helmet.  This
Top Ventilation System is derived from the RX-7V
diffuser system. The replaceable interior is
lined with an anti-microbial fabric.
