that quickly found its place in the market of
Africa is Afro beat. This is a hybrid form of
music and other musical instruments. This is
mixed with Yoruba music, jazz,

high life and funky rhythms, combined with
various percussion and vocal style called afro
talk. This form of music is not new and is said
to have already started in the 1970s. Afrobeat
is associated with Fela Kuti, a West African
musician who is known for his radical opinions
expressed through his music. It is said that Fela
appearing under the name Afro-beat after
returning from a tour of notable with the band.
Seeing the potential of the idea, Fela founded a
new Club and call it an Afro. To popularize the
idea, he decided to change the name of a group
of 70 Nigerian Fela Ransome-Kuti became Africa
70. These groups settled in a glowing Afro for 5
years between the 1970 and 75. Meanwhile, the
popularity of rhythm Afro continues to grow among
young children, affecting the way they speak
Talk, dress, think and even live their lives.
Currently, the rhythms of the Afro continues not
only to become a musical genre, however, also
continues to inspire other musical trends. Some
of the musical trends that were inspired by Afro
rhythms including Lingala. This is a form of
music that is very popular in East and Central
Africa. This musical form is commonly found in
Congo and Sung in Lingala (Congo) and France.
Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba, magic system and more
is the name of the most prominent of these
musical forms. Other musical forms inspired by
Afro rhythms include Kapungala. This is a
relatively new dance was born in Kenya. It is
also a hybrid of these two forms of independent
music. Namely Lingala and kapuka this dance
were popularized by artists such as Daddy Owen
and Tim Wernono. So it's clear that the rhythm
of Afro has impacted the music we're hearing
today and likely will continue in this regard.

certain types of music. Afro Talks really reveal
a variety of emotions, stories, and experiences
through the rhythms of African music. Afro music

Liberia The story about the country of Liberia
has such complex origins. Located along the
coast of Africa with his immediate neighbors
Guinea, Ivory Coast, and Sierra Leone. (Liberia
means "freedom " in Latin) Liberia was born in
1822 when American freed slaves arrive and form
the country. Previously, the land was not
claimed as a colony of Europe or a country.
Liberia is a country that is relatively young.

Liberia is located in West Africa and is home to
the North Atlantic Ocean. Geographically known
as Equatorial forests and beaches. Monrovia is
the capital city with a population of more than 1
million people. It makes up 29 of the total 3.5
million residents. Christianity is the religion
of the country with nearly 20 different ethnic
groups. United Kingdom language is the official
language of Liberia. The country'S GDP estimate
of about 840 million dollars, mainly from
agricultural and industrial activities are
lacking. The main source of Liberia is
chocolate, rice, coffee, and minerals. A U.S.
organization called The American Colonization
Society has launched an activity to give African
American slave who freed the opportunity to
return to their African roots. The migration
began in 1822 about ten thousand people arrived
in Liberia to colonize it. Americo-Liberian
citizens began to settle and after 25 years in
the year 1847, Republic of Liberia was
formed. Joseph Jenkins Roberts was first elected
President. Immigrants brought their culture and
way of life to them and settled in Monrovia, the
capital of the newly founded. The name of capita
was inspired by former President of the United
States, James Monroe, who supports the creation
of Liberia. Cultural differences and
discrimination of beginning have been hindering
the integration of the indigenous people of
Liberia into a new society. For example, they
rejected the voting until the beginning of the
20th century. United States support developing
countries to build an economy that can be
achieved. However, political and economic
development of the country has been hampered by
ethnic rivalries. At the beginning of the 20th
century, Liberia has stable geographically and
has resolved its border with Sierra Leone.
However, the weak economy because of the growth
of the country's debt. In 1926, U.S. rubber
manufacturers named Firestone acquired the rights
to the large plantations that contributed to the
positive growth of the economy of
Liberia. Liberia's continuing economic
development but had trouble until the 1980s. then
the tension between national political parties
took over the country as a result of the first
civil war. A leader of the civil war, Charles
Taylor was elected President in 1997. He serves
the interests of the private over the past six
years by ignoring a tiring economy in the
country. In 1999, a second civil war broke out
which led to Taylor's overthrow by an
international coalition in 2003. But thats all
just history! Now new people are making waves and
breaking ground and writing history from new!
