  3 ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
- What is artificial intelligence??

- Artificial Intelligence is  intelligence
 - displayed by machines, in contrast with
the natural intelligence displayed by humans and
other animals. - Uses of AI
 - Computer science
 - Education
 - Finance
 - Toys and games

  4- Advantages of AI
 - Nonhuman intelligences
 - No need for human testers.
 - Disadvantages of AI
 - If AI programmed is corrupted it can something
devastating. - The AI is programmed to do something beneficial,
but it develops a destructive method for
achieving its goal.
  5ROBOTS
- A robot is a machine which is capable of carrying
out a complex series of actions automatically.
- USES
 - Factory
 - Space
 - Military
 - Mining
 - Healthcare,
 - Home

  6- Advantages of Robots
 - Robots helps us in many ways.
 - It can lift heavy loads.
 - It can also do minor surgery.
 - Disadvantages of Robots
 - It costs a leg and a arm.
 - Robots need a continuous supply of power
 - People can lose their jobs.
 - Maintenance and repair are expensive.

  7Laws of Robotics
First Law A robot may not injure a human
being, or, through inaction, allow a human being
to come to harm, unless this would violate a
higher order law Second Law A robot must obey
orders given it by human beings, except where
such orders would conflict with a higher order
law Third Law A robot must protect its own
existence as long as such protection does not
conflict with a higher order law.
 8The First Robot
- Unimate was the first industrial robot, which
worked on a General Motors assembly line at
the Inland Fisher Guide Plant in Ewing Township,
New Jersey, in 1961. - It was invented by George Devol in the 1950s

  9Types of Robots
Humanoid Robots
Legged Robots
Wheeled Mobile Robots
Underwater Robots
Aerial Robots
Surgery Robots
 10Wheeled robots
- Wheeled robots are used to navigate the ground
using motorized wheels  - Uses
 - Playing
 - Guarding
 - Transporting

  11Legged robots
- Legged robots use mechanical limbs for movement

They can traverse many different terrains
 12Aerial robots
- Aerial robots is an aircraft without a human
pilot aboard. - Uses
 - Agriculture
 - Navy
 - Medical
 - Military
 - Surveillance

  13Underwater robots
- Underwater robots can be autonomous, or they can
be remotely operated. - There are many applications of underwater
robotics such as scientific exploration, and
military use.
  14Humanoid robots
- A humanoid robot is used in scientific area.

Uses
- To assist the sick and elderly.
 - To serve in military purposes.
 -
 - Resembles the human body.

  15 Honda ASIMO
- ASIMO is a humanoid robot created by Honda in
2000.
  16Care robots
Uses
- In hospitals,
 - For good care to the senior citizen.

  17In Medical Field
- Medical Transportation Robots.
 -
 - Surgical Assistants.
 -

  18 Human Cyborg
- A cyborg is a human with both organic and
biomechatronic body parts. - British artist Neil Harbisson , has had a cyborg
antenna implanted in his head that allows him to
extend his perception of colours. As he is colour
blind. -

  19Bionic Eyes
- A visual prosthesis, often referred to as a
bionic eye, is an experimental visual device
intended to restore functional vision in those
suffering from partial or total blindness.
  20Applications of robots
- Medical
 - Industrial
 - Domestic
 - Military
 - Entertainment
 - Space

  21Robots used in Military
Helping a injured person
 To watch the enemies
To help the army
 22In Space
- Unmanned Space Exploration
 - To perform tasks that astronauts
 otherwise would have
to do.
