Canon printer Error U162

• If this error code is displayed on the screen of
  machine, then it is telling you to replace empty
  cartridges because there is no ink left in the
  cartridges. If same message is again displayed
  even after inserting a new ink cartridge, then
  simply call the canon printer tech support
  service to fix this error

Canon printer Error E04

• The cartridge used in your printer has not been
  installed correctly. To remove this error,
  install the cartridges correctly. Once the
  cartridges have been removed you can re-install
  them by pushing them in until it clicks into
  place. Close the cover before resuming printing.
  If same message is displayed again even after
  inserting a cartridge correctly, then simply call
  the canon printer support service

• This error code is displayed when the ink
  cartridge isn't recognized, this error can be
  solved by lifting the cover of the printer and
  ensuring the ink cartridge is inserted to its
  proper place correctly. If same error message is
  displayed again even after placing a cartridge
  correctly, then simply call the canon printer
  service number to fix this error

• This error code occurs due to a hardware failure
  either with the printer or the print head.
  Official Canon advice states that you can Turn
  off the printer, Disconnect the power cable after
  that Open the printer cover - Check for any seal
  protective tape and remove if necessary, Check
  that if there is any issue the printer (such as a
  paper clip or any other) and remove if necessary,
  Close the cover, Reconnect and turn ON THE
  printer. If these step does not resolved the
  issue, contact the Canon printer care centre
