  • Often people have a misconception in
    understanding Canada permanent residency and
    citizenship. Both these status are beneficial for
    a migrant and have a thin line difference between
    them.
  • Permanent Residency of Canada
  • This status can be claimed by professionals or
    workers who wish to reside in Canada on long
    term. By applying for a PR visa, this status is
    obtained. Candidates who are legal nationals of a
    specific country, with min. graduation and 2
    years work experience qualify for PR status.
    Along, PR demands that the permanent residency
    applicant must have a good English language
    caliber, sound health and no previous criminal
    record. After the application process and
    successful application approval, the candidate
    gets a PR status and is termed as Canadian
    permanent resident.
