Appendicitis Intro
Appendicitis is caused due to the blockage or
obstruction in the appendix. The blockage can
cause inflammation and infection in the appendix
leading to appendicitis. The blockage can
result from a buildup of mucus or fecal matter
or any other deposit. When theres an obstruction
in the appendix, bacteria can grow fast and cause
the inflammation and infection.

SYMPTOMS OF APPENDICITIS
4
SYMPTOMS NO 1
The most common symptom of appendicitis is pain.
Appendicitis usually causes a gradual dull
cramping or pain throughout the abdomen. As the
inflammation increases, it causes irritation of
the lining of the abdominal wall . This causes
sharp and localized pain in the right lower
section of your abdomen.
5
SYMPTOMS NO 2
Appendicitis causes a mild fever between 99F and
100.5F. You may also experience  chills.
6
SYMPTOMS NO 3
Your digestion may get upset. You may feel nausea
and vomiting. Loss of appetite is another common
symptoms of appendicitis. You and as if you cant
eat.
7
SYMPTOMS NO 4
You may also get constipation or develop
diarrhea. Sometimes, you may have trouble passing
gas. This may be a sign of a partial or
total obstruction of the bowel.

SYMPTOMS NO 5
Children may have a difficult time telling about
the pain, and therefore, it may be difficult to
diagnose the condition in children. They may tell
about the pain in their entire abdomen, as they
cant pinpoint the localized pain. Parents
generally mistake appendicitis in children for
a common stomach bug or infection or a urinary
tract infection (UTI). Read about appendicitis
in kids here.

SYMPTOMS NO 6
Children ages 2 and younger show the symptoms
such as nausea, bleeding, vomiting, tender
abdomen, pain in abdomen. Extra caution should be
given to the care of a children. The appendix can
get ruptured if a delay in diagnosis occurs. This
can be dangerous for even adults, but the risk of
death is highest in infants and toddlers.
