If an employee needs to gain entry into work,

room (containing confidential information), they
must stand in front of a facial scanner. Their
face will be scanned for the specific
characteristics on the persons face. The
biometrics software will take this information
and match with the characteristics listed in the
database. This process is called authentication.
Once the system has successfully made a match,
the employees identity is confirmed.
