Installation of RHEL

• Select Install or upgrade an existing system
  option on Grub Menu.
• Choose a language.
• Choose a keyboard type.
• Choose a installation media.
• Skip DVD media test (or select media test, if you
  want to test installation media before
  installation)
• Red Hat 6 graphical installer starts, select
  next.

usage Basic

• Stream editing is one of the more advanced usages
  of basic Linux commands. Other useful commands
  for manipulating files are gawk (a column-based
  stream editor), head and tail for extracting the
  start or the end of the file.

Running commands
Getting help

• Each item is separated by a space.
• Commands have the following syntax
• command options arguments
• Options modify the commands behavior
• Single letter options usually preceded by -
• Can be passed as -a -b -c or -abc
• Full word options usually preceded by --
• Example --help
• Arguments are file names or other data needed by
  the command
• Multiple commands can be separated by semicolon
  () mkdir backups cp .txt backups/
