  Consulting, has extensive experience serving as
  an advocate and navigator for parents of children
  with special needs in the Montgomery County,
  Maryland public school system. She prepares
  parents for MCPS school meetings and assists them
  at these meetings in order to secure appropriate
  placements for their children.

Considerations in IEP Development

• In developing an IEP, the IEP team will
  consider a number of factors. The Team includes
  the childs parents or guardian, general
  education teacher, special education staff, the
  staff who have tested the child, Pupil Personnel
  Worker and any other professionals the school
  system deems necessary.
