  • The bidet is hundreds of years old and as the it
progressed many different kinds emerged. Like
anything else there are different types of them
and getting to know the different types will help
you decide which one you want. There are 3
different types of bidets and in the article I am
going to mention them and give price ranges.

  • The Original Porcelain Bidet
  • The bidet was invented in the 1700s and the first
type that existed was one that was separate from
your toilet. These were usually made out of
porcelain and were very expensive. They were not
attached to the toilet so a lot of room was
needed. Since it was separate from the toilet
once the person was done going to the bathroom
they would have to get up and use the bidet which
was next to it. This type was the first one to
exist and is usually very expensive. It can cost
anywhere from 500-1800 dollars. Since it was so
expensive only the high class owned one but it
was the first bidet out there so if you wanted
one you had to get this one. The was the first
    type of bidet that existed.

  • The Electric Bidet
  • In the 60's a new type of bidet emerged, this
bidet did not require much room as it was
attached to your toilet. This type of bidet was
called the electric bidet. It hooked up to your
toilet and could be used without having to get
up. This bidet gained popularity in the 60s as
indoor plumbing improved. It became more
mainstream to have the bidet all over the world
in Europe and Japan. Since it was made out of
plastic usually, it is much cheaper then the
earlier versions of the bidet and is found in
more houses. This type of bidet made the bidets
popular, it still cost a lot of money to own this
type of bidet but it had many features that the
older bidet did not have, it had different
temperatures and even air drying. The only
downside is that it requires electricity to use.

  • The Non-Electric Bidet
  • As bidets grew in popularity, so did the
different kinds. A new type of bidet that emerged
was the non-electric bidet. This bidet requires
    no

  • electricity and is much cheaper then the other
bidets. It can either be a toilet seat or attach
in between the toilet and the seat. It is real
easy to install and requires no electricity. This
type of bidet gained a lot of popularity in the
Middle East since it is very cheap and in some
places they sell for as low as 10. For those
that just need a simple clean and are on a low
budget, this option is the best. It does not have
as many features as the electric bidet does but
it gets the job done. The non-electric bidet can
come with either cold water or hot water
depending on where you hook it up to. Since it
does not use electricity it will use the piping
    of the bathroom.
  • As you can see there are many different types of
bidets out there. The bidet has changed a lot
since it was invented hundreds of years ago.
There are many to choose from and depending on
your needs you can choose which bidet you want.
There is the original bidet, which is the most
expensive and takes up the most room. There is
the electric bidet which 2nd expensive but does
not take up any additional room. And finally
there's the non-electric bidet which is the
    cheapest but does not

  • have as many features as the others. All of these
bidets are good and have their pros and cons
depending on what you want. With a little
research you can find the best bidet for your
