Using the Operator panel

• Load the document needs to be scanned into the
  flatbed or ADF of the printer.
• Change the MODE of your machine to SCAN. The LCD
  display will list the software applications that
  you can send the scan to.
• To change the application to FILE use the arrow
  pad and then press the SELECT button. Beside the
  file an asterisk () will appear.

• To start the scan, press either the Color or the
  Black button. You will get a prompt to save the
  file.
• Now select a location to store the document,
  desktop is always recommended.
• Change the Save as type to PDF and then click
  the Save option.

Scan using the All-In-One Center

• Load the required document to be scanned into the
  ADF of the printer.
• From the list Programs on your system launch the
  All-In-One Center.
• Select FILE from the drop-down list under SCAN.
  To save the document you will be prompted.
• Keep the file in a selected location.
• Change Save as type to PDF.
• Lastly hit the Save button.
