Install McAfee Internet Security on Mac

Firstly McAfee Internet Security should be
downloaded on your system, find it and then go
for the installation process

• Go to the downloaded McAfee-Macinstaller-3.x.dmg f
  ile and double-click on this file to open it.
• Give a double click on McAfee-MacInstaller-3.x.dmg
  file.
• To start the installation, double-click the
  softwares icon. If you a see warning that
  installer downloaded from the internet then click
  Open.
• If prompted enter the Mac administrator email
  address and password.

• In the installer window enter the Serial Number
  in the appropriate field, wait until the
  installer downloads, scans your Mac and then
  install the product(s).
• Now to activate your antivirus follow the
  on-screen instructions and hit the finish to
  complete the process.
• Click Trust when your browser requests that you
  trust SiteAdvisor extension.
• When it is installed first time on your PC the
  firewall running on your Mac will display a
  pop-up message. Select Home or Work if you are
  setting up your PC in a home network. When the
  process finishes firewall will create a default
  network rule if the pop-up message is not seen.

Configure Internet Security

• Launch the McAfee Security.
• Go to McAfee Internet Security Preferences.
• Select Firewall if not selected.
• Click on Padlock icon if locked.
• Enter your Macs admin credentials.
• Change the TYPE from Public to Home or work under
  the drop-down option of Type.
• Lastly, exit from the window by clicking the Red
  button.
