• 1. Screen Options Key to unlocking other cool
  things. Click this drop-down list to unlock all
  hidden features

• 2. Help - Right next to the screen option, you
  will see Help Button. Click drop-down menu,
  explaining the key parts of a screen.

• 3. Dashboard Widgets Refers to the entire
  WordPress Back-end. Add Widgets to the dashboard,
  giving you useful site's performance.

• 4. Sticky Posts The WordPress visual editor
  screen, starting with sticky Posts. Take this
  approach if a post happens to be your most
  popular, informative, or biggest earning.
• The sticky posts feature is found to the right of
  the visual editor in the Publish panel.

5. Schedule Posts - WordPress supports post
scheduling, found in the Publish panel next to
the visual editor. This time, though, click the
Edit link next to Publish.

• This opens up several date options. Simply
  specify a date or time in the future, hit OK, and
  WordPress will schedule your post.

it directly onto your text to create a link

Formatting shortcuts you can use. Just type them

auto-format for you.

temporarily hide the wordpress sidebar and all

built-in image editing functionality, it does
give you a quick and easy way to crop, resize,
flip, or rotate your images.

• To access this functionality, navigate to Media gt
  Library gt select your chosen image gt Edit Image.

content, WordPress offers four sizing options
Thumbnail, Medium, Large, and Full-size.
Full-size is self-explanatory.

• WordPress does come with preset image sizes, you
  can customize the default image dimensions by
  navigating to Settings gt Media.

Menus gt Screen Options Screen options is in the
top-right corner, remember. Select check boxes
for the items you want the option of adding to
your menus.

14. Accessibility Mode for Widgets You can add
lots of cool Widgets content to your WordPress
sidebars. Navigate to Appearance gt Widgets gt
Screen Options gt Enter accessibility mode.

logged into your WordPress account when browsing
the official repository, you have the option to
favorite any plugin or theme.

16. Close Comments - Close comments on old posts.
WordPress can do this automatically for you, too,
by navigating to Settings gt Discussion. You can
configure comments to automatically shut down on
posts over a certain age.

Post category, WordPress will publish it as
'uncategorized' by default.

• First, you need to create a new category Posts

add favicons to your website. Open the Customizer
Appearance gt Customizer then make the Site
Identity tab.

• In the Site Icon, you will be able to select an

/options.php.

• You can configure WordPress options here URL,
  time format, blog name, site description, etc.
  You can also customize many of the hidden
  features, including default image sizes,
  auto-closing blog comments, and default post
  category.
