Uzbekistan Travel Ideas to Have a Successful Trip:

Description:

Alexander the Great, Moghuls, The Silk Road, you'd never think that all these historic places, milestones, and personalities have acted upon and in reality lived in the Central Asian region and Uzbekistan in particular. You'd probably recall India, Afghanistan, Persia, but never Uzbekistan. Mind you, the first of Moghuls - Babur - was born in what now is known as Fergana Valley in contemporary Uzbekistan. The legendary Taj Mahal was built by a direct descendant of Babur who, you guessed it right, was born "in Uzbekistan". Uzbekistan Travel Ideas to Have a Successful Trip
  • Alexander the Great, Moghuls, The Silk Road,
you'd never think that all these historic places,
milestones, and personalities have acted upon and
in reality lived in the Central Asian region and
Uzbekistan in particular. You'd probably recall
India, Afghanistan, Persia, but never Uzbekistan.
Mind you, the first of Moghuls - Babur - was born
in what now is known as Fergana Valley in
contemporary Uzbekistan. The legendary Taj Mahal
was built by a direct descendant of Babur who,
you guessed it right, was born "in Uzbekistan".
So there's a ton of history in this diverse land
and most Uzbeks are very proud of it.
  • For starters, archaeologists will dribble over
the archeological site in Kuva, a tiny village.
This excavation is rather slow, it started some
50 years ago, but its importance is different not
to notice. It certainly does not look close to
stunning, but the adjacent museum tells lots of
exciting stories and exhibit a good number of
    ancient artifacts.
  • Andijan has a great artisan's corner located in
the middle of local market. You are definitely
going there with a tour guide, so they'd know
where to look. This will make your Uzbekistan
    tour a successful one.

  • Fergana valley is named after Fergana city.
Locals proudly call it "Pearl of the East" and
the city has a clearly different feel from most
Uzbek cities. We completely agree and this place
is strongly recommended stopover. You can see a
great collection of fine art, which they spread
out frequently at the local museum.
  • And finally when you are in Tashkent,
Uzbekistan's capital. This will be the exciting
place with a strange mixture of modern steel and
glass architecture and Soviet era apartment
buildings and you might actually enjoy the
capital. Restaurants and clubs are very visible,
hotels are modern and inexpensive and overall
    vibe is quite chic.
  • Uzbekistan has very interesting places to
explore. One among them is Samarkand which is a
true gem you'll find in this country. Samarkand
is now deeply restored and clean city with a 2500
years of history. Please visit our website to
read detailed stories about Samarkand and all
other places of interest before you plan your
trip as it's always good to prepare in advance.
This will also help you to appreciate the
    beautiful sights.

  • Once you will complete your visit to each and
every mosque, mausoleum and market in Samarkand,
your trip will likely take you to Bukhara, an
    astonishingly different city. Architectural
wonder and the best place to delight warm
hospitality of locals. In addition to it Bukhara
is famous for family run inns and bed
breakfasts along with two dozen of world class
    2000 years old architectural monuments.
  • When you are done with Bukhara, never hesitate to
head to Khiva - a true masterpiece of
    architecture, history and culture. The
    destination is totally worth it.
  • If you are interested in exotic and ancient
cultures, then you'd be pleasantly amazed in
Uzbekistan. Uzbekistan really offers more than
just historic monuments and 2000 years old
cities. Eco-tourism is big and well supported,
trekking is one of the best out there, you can
    even go skiing.
