10 Tips How to Write Successful Final Paper
2
  • For many students, writing a final paper is quite
a challenging and overwhelming task. However,
its not a time to panic with a good planning,
hard work and dedication, you can create a
powerful final paper even if your deadline is
running out. Be patient and read the following
    tips.

3
  • 1. Choose an interesting topic
  • If you have a chance to select your own topic, be
as creative as possible. Choose the one which is
exciting and fascinating for you and youll see
how the writing process can be easy and
    captivating.

4
  • Some students pick too broad topics and later
have lots of difficulties. Remember you cant
cover everything in your written piece. Instead
of writing about American Revolution, choose its
particular aspect and start researching about it.

5
  • Also, before in-depth research on the chosen
topic, show it to your teacher and get an
approval. If your teacher has already assigned
you a particular topic, begin with researching
some new angles or unique approaches towards this
subject which will make your written piece stand
out from others. Your main task is to make it
    original and insightful.

6
  • 2. Research
  • For final project professional writing, surf the
    Internet and check encyclopedias online,
    educational websites, libraries, government
agencies, or contact those who have enough
expertise in your field of study.

7
  • Use both primary (results of experiments,
speeches, audio and video recordings, statistical
data, interviews, etc.) and secondary (article in
newspapers and scholarly journals, etc.). Try to
find new ways of thinking about your subject.

8
  • 3. Make an outline
  • An outline is a like a road map for your writing
it helps to organize a paper logically before you
start composing. Usually, it includes three
parts an introduction, a body, and conclusions.
Stick to this plan and youll see how important a
    good organization is.

9
  • 4. Formulate a thesis statement
  • It is a spine of the whole final paper, the main
point youre going to develop and defend in your
body paragraphs. So, make it clear and concise
for readers as well as for yourself.

10
  • 5. Write a catchy introduction
  • The best academic writers usually grab the
readers attention momentarily. You can start
with a question, a quote or a curious anecdote.
Here you need to be clear and direct. No needless
information you dont want to bore your audience
    from the very beginning.

11
  • 6. Write a body
  • Each paragraph should support your arguments in a
unique way. Make sure all your statements flow
smoothly and logically so the reader wont have
    troubles getting to your point.

12
  • 7. Make a strong conclusion
  • State your thesis statement again but in a new
way. Wrap everything up and give the reader
something to think about. Alternatively, if you
need graduation project help, hire a professional
    writer.

13
  • 8. Stick to a particular style
  • If youve used outside sources, look through
requirements concerning citation style (it can be
MLA, APA, or Chicago format). Read the manual and
    cite according to academic standards.

14
  • Using quotes to back up your arguments is a great
idea, but dont overdo it. Your final paper is
your thoughts and ideas but not a combination of
other authors words. The reader wants to know
what you think on the topic.

15
  • 9. Narrow it down
  • If there is a chance to say something in fewer
words, do it. You need to as clear and succinct
as possible and make sure each of your statements
makes sense. Still need help with a final
    research paper? Contact professional services!

16
  • 10. Proofread
  • Check your written piece for grammar mistakes.
Use a thesaurus as needed. Try to boost the
quality of your final paper to the best of your
skill. Ask someone else to read it and give
    feedbacks.

17
Dont forget to
  • Use a spell check
  • Use a spell check but dont rely on it
completely. It wont spot errors such as accept
instead of except or how instead of show.
Such silly errors wont leave a good impression
about you as a writer. Your teacher will probably
think that if youre too careless to check for
errors, you dont put any efforts in your final
    paper at all.

18
  • Delete irrelevant information
  • There is no place for meaningless and irrelevant
to your topic information. Also, dont include
something that you dont even understand. It has
to be your words and original thoughts so no
plagiarism. All ideas you borrowed should be
cited and included in a reference list
    accurately.

19
  • Write a final paper one or two days before the
    deadline
  • It gives you a chance to rest a bit and then
check your written piece once again. Ask
yourself Is it the top what I can write? Make
sure all your points are clear and convincing.
  • More helpful tips you will find in this Google
    book.
