• The lake covers 3,030 sq miles, is 176 miles
  long, has a maximum width of 31 miles, and a
  maximum depth of 407 ft, and holds over one
  trillion gallons of water, making it the largest
  and deepest lake in both Alberta and
  Saskatchewan, and the eighth largest in Canada.
  Its far off the beaten track no roads lead here
  (the closest road is 128 miles away), and there
  are very few other people fishing this huge lake.
  Some days, the only boat youll see is yours! The
  Athabasca, Fond Du Lac and the Peace Rivers all
  drain into the Lake Athabasca from both ends.
  With this massive influx of nutrient rich water
  the lake can support huge quantities of baitfish
  enough to feed incredible numbers of trophy
  Lake Trout and Northern Pike. Look no further

• Our main lodge and guest cabins, located on
  Stewart Island in the eastern region of Lake
  Athabasca, were designed and constructed to
  compliment the natural ambience of the
  surrounding wilderness and region. The lodge
  features inviting leisure and recreation areas
  that encourage relaxation and enjoyment of the
  panoramic views of the lake and northern forests
  and most important, the pleasure of companionship
  with friends and fellow fishermen. A large deck
  enables you to enjoy the freshness of the
  outdoors, the sounds of the wilderness, wildlife
  and waves of the lake lapping up on the shore. We
  have Internet and Wi-Fi as well.

Fishing Trips Stewart Canada

• DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS A 50 deposit is required to
  confirm services. Final payment is due May 1st.
  Bookings made after May 1 must be paid in full at
  time of booking. Payment is accepted by personal
  check, wire transfer or credit card (with an
  additional handling fee of 2 for credit card
  processing). CANCELLATION POLICY If the
  cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to
  your arrival, your payment will be credited to
  later in the season or to the following year.
  Trip Cancellation Insurance covering medical
  expenses, cancellation, curtailment, and baggage
  loss is strongly suggested. We cannot be held
  responsible for any flight delays or incidences
  beyond our control. LIABILITIES IndianHead
  Fishing Lodge Inc., carries general liability
  insurance. No liability can be accepted by
  IndianHead Fishing Lodge Inc. for loss or damage
  to personal effects, illness or emergency
  evacuation. A Liability Waiver must be signed by
  any guest planning a trip with Indian Head
  Fishing Lodge. We strongly recommend you check
  your own insurance policy for personal coverage.
