• Shortage of hair is a common experience for a lot
  of us. And no matter what the reason naturally
  receding hairline, bad nutrition, pollution, hair
  loss or illnesses (such as cancer). And while
  there are those who dont really mind it, for the
  majority, its not a happy situation for most of
  us.

  human behaviour and psychology suggests that
  having hair or not having it can create a marked
  difference in the way we feel about ourselves. It
  affects our self-esteem and self-confidence in

  differentiate from real hair (they could even
  fool a hair expert!). Secondly, because synthetic
  wigs have something called style retention, you
  dont have to keep styling them before every
  use Just wash, dry and shake them out - and the
  wig is back in its original avatar ready to use
  (great, right?). Thirdly, they come in a variety
  of cuts, colours, shapes and textures - so you
  can pick one thats just right for your face.
  Fourthly, they are easy to maintain. Fifthly,
  they are lightweight, and therefore convenient
  for daily use. And finally, they tend to be on
  the less expensive side. Is there a flip side to
  synthetic hair? Like all good things in life,
  there is Synthetic hair isnt always color or
  re-color friendly, can sometimes look, well,
  synthetic (giving away the fact that youre
  wearing a wig!), and must be kept away from
  hot-rollers, hair-driers and irons (both the flat
  and curling variety).

• So what about natural hair?
•  Natural hair, as you would expect, has a more
  natural appearance as compared to synthetic hair.
  They need the same styling and maintenance as
  your real hair, so there are no surprises in
  that department. Whats more, they can be
  custom-coloured so you can mix and match them
  to your wardrobe. Finally, they tend to be more
  durable and long-lasting than their synthetic
  counterparts. On to the cons of natural hair
  now. Natural hair tends to be high maintenance
  as compared to synthetic hair, need to be reset
  and restyled after you shampoo, and tends to
  fade (oxidize) when out in the sun.
