WHAT IS BIOSPOT

• Biospot for Dogs is a long-lasting flea and
  tick treatment specifically formulated for dogs
  and puppies with an insect growth regulator (IGR)
  to prevent and control flea infestations. It also
  contains the highly effective flea, deer tick,
  and mosquito killing agent, Etofenprox, which
  kills biting adult fleas, deer ticks, and
  mosquitoes your dog/puppy may acquire from its
  surroundings. A single application will provide
  flea egg hatch inhibition for up to 30 days.
  Adult fleas can live on your dog while producing
  vast numbers of eggs, which drop off your dog and
  develop in the surrounding environment. Bio Spot
  Active Care Flea Tick Spot On for Dogs is one
  of the few products on the market that repels and
  kills mosquitoes!

DIRECTION/DOSAGE

• Do not use more than one tube per dog/puppy
  and do not treat more than once per month. Do not
  allow your dog/puppy to ingest this product. Do
  not bathe your dog 48 hours prior to application.
  BioSpot Active Care Flea Tick Spot On for
  Dogs works by application directly to the
  dog's/puppy's skin, not to the hair. Do not get
  this product in dog's/puppy's eyes or mouth.

Directions for use with applicator

• OPEN Use finger scoop to lift open green door.
• LOAD To Load, place tube WHITE SIDE UP under the
  green tabs.
• CLOSE Close the green door and the tube will
  snap open.
• APPLY Do not apply an excessive amount of the
  solution at any one spot that could cause some of
  the solution to run off the side of the
  dog/puppy. Do not spread the product by hand over
  the dog/puppy. Although the dog's/puppy's skin
  and hair oils will distribute the application
  over the entire dog/puppy, brushing the dog/puppy
  12-24 hours after treatment will help to
  distribute the material over the skin.
• DISPOSE When finished, hold the Smart Shield
  applicator over trash. To dispose of empty tube,
  open green door and drop empty tube into trash or
  offer for recycling if available. Close the Smart
  Shield applicator device door and store in
  original package.
• RETREAT Repeat application every 30 days. Do not
  reapply product for 30 days. Do not treat more
  than once per month.

Directions for use WITHOUT applicator

• OPEN Bend at perforation and tear off top of
  tube. Hold tube upright and snap tip back, away
  from face and body.
• APPLY The dog/puppy should be standing for easy
  application. Apply BioSpot Active Care Flea
  Tick Spot On for Dogs evenly to two to three
  spots on the top of the back from the shoulder to
  the base of the tail. At each spot, part the hair
  until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the
  tube on the skin and gently squeeze to expel a
  portion of the solution on the skin. Do not apply
  an excessive amount of the solution at any one
  spot that could cause some of the solution to run
  off the side of the dog/puppy.
• DISPOSE To dispose of empty tube, drop empty
  tube into trash or offer for recycling if
  available.
• RETREAT Repeat application every 30 days. Do not
  reapply product for 30 days. Do not treat more
  than once per month.

CAUTIONS

• Do not use on cats. Keep cats away from treated
  dog/puppy for 24 hours. If applied to a cat or
  ingested by a cat, contact your veterinarian.
• Hazards to Humans Causes moderate eye
  irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or
  clothing. Wash thoroughly with soap and water
  after handling and before eating, drinking,
  chewing gum, using tobacco, or using the toilet.
• Hazards to Animals Do not use on dogs or puppies
  less than 12 weeks old or weighing less than 5
  lbs. Do not use this product on debilitated,
  aged, medicated, pregnant or nursing animals or
  on animals known to be sensitive to pesticide
  products without first consulting a veterinarian.
  Sensitivity, such as slight transitory redness of
  the skin at the site of application, may occur
  after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If
  signs of sensitivity occur, bathe your pet with
  mild soap, rinse with large amounts of water, and
  consult a veterinarian immediately.

• Side Effects Monitor your dog after application.
  Side effects may include signs of skin irritation
  such as redness, scratching, or other signs of
  discomfort. Gastrointestinal signs such as
  vomiting or diarrhea have also been reported. If
  these or other side effects occur, consult your
  veterinarian or 800-234-2269.
• Storage Store in cool, dry (preferably locked)
  area away from children and animals. Do not store
  unused tubes separately from their packaging.
• Liquid Tube Disposal
• If empty Do not reuse empty tube. Place in trash
  or offer for recycling if available.
• If partly filled Call your local solid waste
  agency for disposal instructions. Never place
  unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
