Nobody wants their body to be buzzing full of
toxins. Thats sure to make us ill.
Unfortunately, toxins are a part of life and we
all have toxins in our bodies. Even in the days
before industrialisation even before there were
humans there were toxins. In other words,
toxins are natural and are simply a fact of life
(although we have added more toxins into the
environment by way of pollution). Fortunately,
there are ways of eliminating toxins from the
body. We can reduce toxins to relatively low
numbers so that they pose little risk of damaging
the body. Today, we will present you with four
easy ways to detox the body. Method 1 Eat
Healthy Foods, Exercise, and Reduce Pollutants in
Your EnvironmentThe first method of detoxing
isnt strictly detoxing at all, but simply
minimising your exposure to toxins. This is
relatively easy and entails doing the usual
health-giving activities healthy diet, exercise
of at least 120-minutes a week, and reducing your
use of pollutants, such as bleach.

You can also do additional things, such as using
a dehumidifier or air conditioning unit in your
house that have HEPA filters. This can help to
reduce the amount of toxins in your home that
come in from outside. For example, if you live in
the city, you are likely to have a high amount of
CO2 in your home caused by the heavy use of
vehicles. Method 2 Let Your Kidneys Filter
Your BloodThats right. Your body already has a
toxin cleanser in the form of your kidneys. Every
day, your kidneys filter an estimated 180 litres
to 200 litres of blood a day. Thats incredible,
isnt it? We only hold around 8 litres of blood
at any one time, so that means our kidneys filter
all of our blood between 22 and 25 times every
24-hour. Thanks kidneys!You can help make your
kidneys work easier by staying well-hydrated and
consuming gentle foods and drinks, such as water
and natural foods (i.e. vegetables, fruit, and
meat avoiding processed foods).

Method 3 Let Your Liver Clean Your BloodThe
liver also has a role in cleansing our blood. It
destroys old blood cells that have passed their
use-by date and that no longer function
correctly. Honestly, our bodies are marvellous
creations. Its simply amazing everything that
they can do. How does it even know that a blood
cell is old and needs breaking down? We have no
idea, but it does know!Method 4 Use a Detox

preparations, there are many detox supplements
available on the market. Some of them have an
excellent track record while others of them are
to be discouraged. The trick to knowing which
are good and which are less good is simple if
theyre invasive, then its probably not worth it
(e.g. colonic irrigation) if theyre
non-invasive, then its worth a shot (e.g. detox
foot pads). If you feel better afterwards, great,
but if not, dont buy that product again.
