Introduction
The IBPS conducts CWE for the recruitment of
Specialist Officers in various cadres.
The IBPS SO Selection Procedure 2017 will be used
to shortlist the candidates for the final
recruitment.

IBPS SO Selection Process
The IBPS SO Selection Process Involves 3 main
steps

1. Common Written Examination
2. Interview
3. Provisional Allotment

Common Written Examination
Examination will consist of objective type
questions. Total Marks for Common Written
Examination is 200 marks cutoff marks for all
categories will be different and candidates will
have to secure marks more than the defined
cutoff.

Interview
Candidates who qualify the written examination
will be eligible to appear for the Personal
Interview Round. The minimum qualifying marks in
interview will not be less than 40 (35 for SC/
ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates).  The final score will
be scores obtained by the candidates in CWE (SPL)
Interview.

Provisional Allotment
After the interview round is over, eligible and
deserving candidates will be shortlisted as per
the vacancies. Candidates shortlisted will be
provisionally allotted to one of the
Participating Organizations on the basis of
merits and preferences as filled by the
candidates. The final allotment letter will be
sent to all the candidates along with their dates
of joining.
