IMPORTANT VASTU TIPS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION

Description:

As mentioned in the Rig Veda, Vastu has been derived from the phrase vasanti praminae yantra, meaning ‘a place where humans reside.’ In other words, Vastu is a representative of the cosmos in an attempt to live life more fully. The need of the hour is now for Vastu to take its place on the honour roll of the ancient arts of the world and become accessible to people belonging to every strata of society. Vastu principles, however, apply right from the start when one plans to build a house of his own. • As mentioned in the Rig Veda, Vastu has been
derived from the phrase vasanti praminae yantra,
meaning a place where humans reside.
  • In other words, Vastu is a representative of the
cosmos in an attempt to live life more fully.
  • The need of the hour is now for Vastu to take its
place on the honour roll of the ancient arts of
the world and become accessible to people
belonging to every strata of society.
  • Vastu principles, however, apply right from the
start when one plans to build a house of his own.

4
  • Procuring the right site, position of the plot,
texture and quality of the land etc every minute
detail needs to be taken into consideration
before boiling down to commencing construction
work for a house or office premises.
  • Here are some important Vastu tips for new
construction pertaining to the proper selection
    of soil.
  • A great deal of importance is placed by Vastu on
the proper quality of soil at the site of a house
which should be carefully studied and judged
before beginning new construction on it.
  • For this, we can conduct an initial test of
    sorts.

5
  • For this, it is suggested to dig two pits of
2x2x2 feet dimension, making sure that the soils
of the two pits is now mixed together. In one of
these pits, soil should be put back.
  • Once the pit is filled, there should be a residue
of the soil left over. If the dug-up soil exactly
packs the pit, or even worse, falls short, then
the site is not regarded as being productive of
    prosperity.
  • As for the other pit, it should be filled with
water to the brim. In an ideal site, the water
should take over an hour to be absorbed byt he
    soil.
  •  If it takes less time than that, the site is
regarded as a potential drain on resources.

6
  • Large cracks left behind in the pit after the
water drains away is a forewarning that extensive
construction expenses would be incurred on new
    construction on the plot.
  • A couple of small cracks is not a matter of
concern, but if there are more than seven cracks,
then think wisely before investing your money on
    such a piece of land.
  • A quicker test of soil quality can be done by
digging a pit of the size mentioned above,
filling it with water, and walking away for a
length of 100 paces at your normal gait.

7
  • When you return, a good site will retain over
half the water, an average site would retain
between one-fourth and one-half of the water
while a poor site would retain less than
one-fourth of the water in the pit.
  • Also note, black soil that goes down to a depth
of twelve feet is supposed to be an obstacle that
no amount of hard work can overcome.
  • It would lead to stagnation of career and
    progress in ones life.
  • Black soil that covers the first three to four
feet and is upon a layer of white and red soil is
    considered fine.

8
  • The best colour for soil is white, followed by
    the red soil.
  • For business men, yellowish colour soil is
    regarded the best.
  • Moreover, if the texture of the soil is crumbly
and friable, this indicates an easy and steady
    flow of cash.
  • Soil that exudes an oily or pleasant smell within
one foot of digging is also considered
    beneficial.
  • Vastu says never overlook the soil texture of the
land where you intend to build your dream house
or office, or else it would lead to a steady
downfall for you and your family in the future.
