Canada Immigration Programs in May 2017

• The month of May, 2017 was quite eventful in
  terms of many immigration programs open to invite
  fresh applications from the Canada PR aspirants.
  Lets take a look at the key Immigration programs
  opened in May 2017.

1. SINP- Express Entry Sub-category Open

• The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program
  (SINP)- International Skilled Worker- Express
  Entry Sub-category opened on May 16, 2017 to
  accept 600 new applications. The stream is still
  open with 462 applications left now.

2. Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP)

• The Nova Scotia Demand Express Entry Stream
  of popular Nova Scotia Nominee Program opened in
  the first week of May to accept 250 new
  applications. However, it soon got paused due to
  some technical error. The program may open soon
  to accept new applications.

3. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)

• Ontario announced to issue weekly
  Notifications of Interest (NOIs) under Human
  Capital Priorities (HCP) stream of its popular
  Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

4. British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program
(BCPNP)

• The British Columbia Provincial Nominee
  Program (BCPNP) opened to invite a total of 364
  invitations in the second week of May. Out of
  which, 133 invitations issued under express entry
  associated streams of BCPNP.

5. Federal Express Entry System

• The Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada
  (IRCC) opened two draws of its popular Express
  Entry Immigration System in the month of May.
• First EE Draw (4th May) invited 3,796
  candidates with CRS score requirement 423 or
  above.
• The second EE draw (17th May) invited 3,687
  candidates with qualifying marks 415 or above.
