8 Types Of Funeral Flower
2
  • Flowers can always say the messages we can never
express. It is not just the flower itself but the
arrangement as well. They say that if you opt to
give flowers, be sure that the arrangements can
    already speak for you.
  •
  • Probably one situation wherein choosing a flower
is never as happy as the others, is when we do so
in favour of the family of a deceased loved one.
As much as we want to sympathise, we also would
love to give them a funeral flower that can
    express respect and love.

Here are the 8 common funeral flowers and the
reasons that they are
  • Lilies
  • These types of flowers are always present. They
are white and radiates a certain scent.
Christians believe that this funeral flower
symbolises rebirth, which in most Christian
religion, is believed to be the purpose of death.
To be reborn into another better place without
the burden of a physical body that is flawed.
With this, death is taken as a renewal rather
    than a loss.
  • In other cultures, Lilies symbolise purity and
    cleanliness.

  • Orchids
  •
  • This type of flower is not solely given during
funerals but if you ask, or if you search for the
meaning of funeral flowers online, the results
would tell you the same thing. Orchids are
believed to mean I will always love you.
  •
  • Of course, regardless how soon our loved ones
left us, generally, this is the statement we
would want to tell them. Present or not, they
    will always be loved.

5
  • Roses
  • These are commonly known as romantic pieces.
However, roses are given at funerals too. Their
colours affect so much the meaning they try to
express. A deep red rose symbolises love and
despair for the loss. Yellow ones are given by
friends to their deceased comrade in order to
reminisce the great bond they shared. The pink
ones are used to express gratitude to the
    deceased.
  •
  • This is so because roses are also taught to
    mean purity, spirituality, and innocence.

6
  • Chrysanthemums
  • This kind of flower has varying meanings around
the globe. Nonetheless, it can be generally
believed that mums, as they are also called, mean
innocence and purity. Of course, the colours
would tell a different story, too.

7
  • Hyacinth
  •
  • The flower that is arranged along with others.
Hyacinths are known to have different meanings
it could either be Ill always pray for you" or
    could express anguish.

8
  • Carnation
  •
  • The flowers that are believed to be from the
tears of the Virgin Mary. These are flowers that
are arranged in wreaths. The white ones mean
innocence while the red ones mean affection.

9
  • Hydrangea
  • Though the real meaning to this flower may be
varied, most people believe that this flower for
    funeral expresses heartfelt emotions.
  •
  • As much as the flowers we choose may help
express our feelings towards the deceased,
sometimes, we still need a professional opinion
with regard to how well we can express our
emotions visually. To get more information and to
be sure we have chosen the right one, we can
    search about funeral flowers online.
