Dr Dev Shah is a UK qualified Consultant
Dermatologist and Skin Surgeon. With over 15
years of experience, he specializes in all
aspects of dermatology and skin surgery including
Mohs Micrographic Surgery.

Dr Dev Shah is a Consultant Dermatologist and
Cutaneous Surgeon at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS
FoundationTrust. He is the Lead Clinician for
Skin cancer and he set-up the new and successful
Mohs service at Hillingdon Hospital working
collaboratively with other specialities for the
best patient experience.

Dr Dev Shah offers consultation, assessment and
treatments to patients at several locations in
North West London. He sees a range of patients
from those with general dermatology rashes to
extensive and complex skin cancers. Having setup
the first private Mohs service in Bishopswood, he
has now become the Skin Cancer MDT lead for
Bishopswood Hospital.

• Dr Shah recognizes that skin conditions can lead
  to a poor quality of life and is very happy to
  help control your skin so that your skin does not
  control you. He can help you to understand your
  condition and achieve your personal goals in
  treating your skin. 
• Dermatologists use botulinum toxin for various
  problems. Botulinum toxin or Botox is derived
  from bacteria and depending on how it is injected
  into the skin it can reduce sweating
  (hyperhidrosis) and improve the appearance of
  wrinkles on the face. It works by affecting
  nerves that supply muscle, leading to a muscle
  paralysis, which always recover as new nerves are
  generated.

• Dr Shah is trained to use a dermatoscope (skin
  imaging tool) which has been shown to improve
  diagnostic accuracy and reduces the need to
  remove skin lesions and therefore avoids
  unnecessary scarring.
• Dev Shah has trained extensively in this
  technique and has successfully completed well
  over a thousand mohs procedures. It is his
  passion to give you the best service with
  excellent cosmetic results. He is also asked to
  lecture nationally on Mohs and facial
  reconstruction and teaches consultants, nurse and
  students regularly. He will explain the technique
  clearly at your consultation.
