Alex Davies Waruingi Mbugua is an assembly
technician for a wellness-oriented food

promoted to a team lead position for his
department in 2016, and he hopes to achieve a
management position by 2018. He enjoys motivating
his teammates to produce the highest quality
work, and he has implemented numerous
rewards-based recognition systems. Alex Davies
Waruingi Mbugua has spent the last three years of
his life volunteering with a variety of
youth-based volunteer organizations, namely Big
Brothers Big Sisters in New York City. He enjoys
working with his mentee to outline future goals
and plans while simply enjoying each others
company. He believes in the mission and the model
of the organization and encourages others to
become mentors as well.

Alex Davies Waruingi Mbugua is a Big Brothers Big
Sisters mentor. With a deep belief in the mission
of the organization, he began serving when he was
twenty-two because he knows that every child
deserves to have a caring adult who is interested
in seeing that child succeed. Having grown up
with many strong adult role models, he is happy
to pass on that guidance and wisdom. Alex Davies
Waruingi Mbugua knows that providing the best
service means devoting yourself to setting high
standards and achieving all of the goals that you
create for yousrself. He dedicates himself to
being a support system to his teammates in order
to build camaraderie in the workplace, an
important element of healthy, thriving
businesses. He hopes to be a company manager by
2018.

food since he was a child, spending entire days
flipping through his mothers cookbooks and
creating meals for his family, who encouraged his
enthusiasm. This branched into a desire to

wellness, which has played a key role in his job
at a health-oriented food processing company.
