Tough Competition Since lot of aspirants apply
to ISB, therefore there is tough competition,
specially from your own breed colleagues, making
it even more difficult to get through. It is a
simple case of more demand by professionals and
limited intake at ISB.

internet, a bit of advice from here and there and
we are ready to rock and roll. That is a problem
with lot of people with little realisation that
getting entry was never easy with increasing
competition. It is the lack of systematic
approach in their planning which gets your ISB

professionals dream to make it big with an ISB
MBA. But if you dig deep , only 2 can actually
answer - where this MBA will take them after they
get it. It is this lack of clarity which becomes
evident to the Admission Officers of ISB,
ultimately resulting in rejection. Remember Not
all professionals are the same nor are their
reasons to pursue an MBA from ISB.

professionals believe that since they possess
some years of experience, therefore that
experience itself is a sure shot bullet.
Therefore few of them do not take the interview
that seriously and commit blunders. One needs to
understand that with experience comes the
responsilbility to show matureness for the ISB

applicants do not get through the ISB because
they have weak GPA or GMAT/GRE score. ISB does
not accept such students unless and until the
student has something really significant to boost

forms are not up to the mark. It is advised that
you must take the help of an ISB alumni or

as professional career is concerned, However
composing essays and LOR is a different ball game

Since ISB wants a diverse class , therefore ISB
applicants try to be different from each other
and also try to project themselves as a unicorn
whereas in reality most of them are just plain
horses. No offense meant guys, but this is true
because lot of ISB applicants are now coming up
with fake tech start up stories to prove
themselves different. Remember guys ! This might
be the first time for you, but not for the
admission officers. Our advice Be Smart.

Every B-School is different including ISB Lot
of IT guys do not understand that even though
HBS, Kellogg, Stanford are all B-Schools , yet
they have different criteria for selecting
students. So you have to customize your ISB
application and brainstorming each time and
respond as per their needs. Remember - you can
not use the same product for every client. It is
the same with ISB as well.
