The Chub Loading Game Changer
Case packing of chub packs has always been a
manual hand-load process. Automating this process
due to the shape and size variance of the chub
has always been seen as a challenge to food
processors. Using the JLS Osprey robotic case
packer as a base, special modifications and
tooling were added to develop the innovative
Osprey CL automatic chub loader. The system
features single or dual ABB IRB 360 FlexPicker
robots, which are the most sanitary picking
robots on the market today.

of both primary and secondary pork packaging

sausage into trays (modified atmosphere
packaging, plastic or foam), overwrapped trays or
