Grand Cayman An Abundance of Activities
Quite frankly, there are many things to do in
Cayman. At Grand Cayman, you can literally
immerse yourself exploring the abundant number of
land based attractions such as Queen Elizabeth II
Botanic Park, Stingray City, Cayman Turtle Farm
and the numerous wonderful beaches on the island.
However, what many visitors and tourists miss out
are the numerous opportunities to explore water
based and underwater activities in the Cayman
Islands. However, there are more adventurous
activities in Cayman such as scuba diving, snuba,
snorkelling, and exploring the sea underwater in
a real submarine.

Why not go helmet diving and explore the
wonderful sea floor amidst the amazing corals and
other marvellous marine life. Alternatively, if
you want to avoid getting wet, take a tour on a
glass bottom boat to explore the fascinating
underwater world. Visit exotic destinations such
as the wrecks of the Cali and Cheeseburger Reef.
Also, the Cayman Islands boast of more than 365
dive sites that make the destination a divers
paradise. Many diving sites are as little as five

Underwater Activities in Cayman
Many diving sites are as little as five minutes
by boat, giving divers a world-class diving
experience. Besides the famed Kittiwake dive
site, there are other dive sites such as Trinity
Caves, Sand Chute, Gails Mountain, Princess
Pennys Pinnacle and many others.
You can board the semi-submarine. It does not
descend below the surface and does not submerge
or dive. Instead guests simply descent into the
observatory and enter a wall-to-wall
glass-viewing chamber that is five feet below the
surface. From here, they can easily gaze at the
teeming shallow reefs and shipwrecks.
