Igor Dzhura, a Master of Science in Biophysics,
holds over 10 years of experience as medical
researcher. He has been involved in numerous
researches and projects, and has always given
utmost contribution in their success. He has
worked for various leading medical centers and
institutes, and earned a solid background in
biochemistry, cancer research, microbiology, and
drug recovery.

At present, he is employed at ReproSource Inc.,
Woburn, MA. Serving the position of
Scientist/Medical Technologist in the Department
of Immunology, he works under CLIA, CAP, and
manages assay NKA, IMX, FOXP3 and T-RIP, and
develops and validates new assays for flow
cytometry.

Igor Dzhura has worked for Vanderbilt University
Medical Center for 8 years and the Bogomoletz
Institute of Physiology for 2 years. At these
medical centers, he served the position of a
Research Associate, and performed various duties
such as studying T-type channels, regulation of
cardiac calcium channel by CAMKII.

  Novartis/NIBR in Cambridge, MA, and performed
  various duties
• Designed, implemented and validated new and
  existing ion channels and GPCR/M1 based
  functional assays for target engagement,
  profiling and HTS
• Identified cutting-edge technologies for ion
  channels and GPCR electrophysiological assays.
• Cardiac safety profiling
• Lead drug discovery and validated
  targets/mechanism of action for a variety of
  natural products/drugs for a multiple projects
  (oncology, malaria, diabetes, muscle disorder)
• Management of tissue culture logistics and
  maintenance of various ion channel expressing
  cell lines (voltage and ligand gated)
• Developed and validated new assays for drug
  discovery (received 2 Awards)
• Managed external collaborations and CROs.
