From 1997 until 2007, Dr. Joshua Safeek served
as the Chief Executive Officer of the Caricom
General Insurance Co in Guyana. His efforts and
results during this decade were impressive in the
country, creating a financial institution that
earned more than one hundred million dollars
during his tenure. Before this, there were no
options or services in Guyana for bond
underwriting.
