Why lawyer should not blindly add their profile

• I would always recommend lawyers and law firms to
  add their profile to as many as lawyers directory
  or lawyers database, and I would strongly
  recommend the same with certain conditions.  For
  the branding and clients visibility stand point
  its good to have your profile everywhere in the
  directories.
• Here I would like to point out the conditions,
• 1.       You need to look at the credibility of
  the directory - Add only if the directory is
  reliable and they dont misuse your profile.
• 2.       Do no openly mention your phone number
  and email in the directory as it is - Because it
  can access anyone from public easily and use it
  for commercial purpose. Also there are email and
  phone gathering crawl engines which would gather
  your private data to their commercial purpose.
