Talk about the concept!(Designers note)
Nawabi a memory from the past... It begins
with the awe-inspiring building... shining like
a star in a hot summer day. I was 16... on a
family trip to Lukhnow while visiting Bada
Imamabara, A building filled with many historical
significances, captivating stories of Nawabs
begums, extravaganzas of story tellers speaking
in details about the heritage of lukhnow and a
maze in which I actually got lost. This very
moment is the inspiration behind the collection
which was awaited since very long... Desire of
making a jewellery collection revived in my mind
again, while watching Deepika padukone in Baji
rao Mastani. Beautifully played Mastani was a
muslim girl flawlessly showcasing the divine
beauty of Mughal Islamic influence in her
language, out fits jewelleries. Upcoming
wedding season will going to have major influence
of the movie , so in the collection as well
selection of the products are based on the mughal
inspired jewellery while incorporating famous
Lukhnow enamelling style to bring fresh flavours
in the season.
