  only requirement is to uphold the Railway Wallet
  to ensure safe transactions.

Availability

• The OEMs application store has the downloadable
  version of this application. Choose a suitable
  application store to download the mobile
  ticketing app. What are you waiting for? Pick
  your smart phone and download the app now!

Registration

• You can choose to register either from your
  mobile app or by visiting the official website of
  Indian railways.
• The essential details required to register are
  name, mobile number, city, train ticket, train
  type, class and number of passengers. While
  registering, the mobile number generates an OTP,
  which has to be fed to the application.

• The passenger can customize the application by
  entering the details like the frequently
  traveling routes. This can enable him or her to
  book his tickets under 2 or 3 clicks.
• On successful completion of the registration
  process, the login and password credentials will
  be generated and sent to the registered mobile
  number. Then you are ready to check the PNR
  status through mobile.

Login

• The mobile number and password are required for
  the user to login. The application features are
  accessible only to the registered users. Make
  sure that you enter the correct details. After 3
  consecutive failures of login attempts, the
  account will be locked for an hour. We can expect
  changes in this policy with time.

Features

• Booking tickets to the registered frequent
  travelling routes.
• You can also wish to book tickets for any other
  suburban routes.
• The registered users can check out their booking
  history.
• Managing the profile and monitoring the R wallet
  are made possible.

Booking of tickets

• This application allows you to book only the
  normal tickets. Unlike other modes of booking, no
  advance booking will be made available in this
  context. In short, date of booking is your date
  of journey. Normal booking and quick booking are
  the options available to book the tickets.

Cancellation of tickets

• You can have the flexibility of cancelling the
  ticket, just before the hard copy is generated.
  No money will be refunded to the passenger, the R
  wallet is the only instrument used here.

Ticket printing

• The railway stations will have the ATVMs
  installed. Look out for the print mobile ticket
  option and hit it. Remember that unless you have
  the hard copy of the ticket, you are not eligible
  to travel by the train.

R wallet

• The only payment instrument available to pay
  money is the R wallet. On completion of the
  registration, the R wallet opens at zero balance.
  You can choose to recharge your R wallet at the
  UTS counters or by visiting the official website
  of the railways. When you cancel the ticket, the
  amount will be refunded to your R wallet.
