• The Emerging Africa Infrastructure Fund engaged
  US20 million of debt to this huge project that
  includes the construction, development, and
  operation of a steel mill. This plant will have a
  capacity of 225,000 tons per year and would
  transform local scrap into bars reinforced by
  steel. Such bars are called rebars and the plant
  will be situated at Ogun State in Ogijo. This
  plant will be owned by the national government
  but operated by Parco Group through African
  Foundries Limited.

• In order to provide to the plant independent and
  stable electrical supply, the project includes
  also an independent power plant using gas with a
  capacity of 40MW.
• Generators of high quality will supply power to
  the plant that will have the ability in the
  future to supply additional power to the national
  network.
• The plant will use the natural gas of the
  country and this gas would be otherwise exported
  or flared while the Nigerian Gas Cooperation will
  supply the gas on site along through its
  operational gas station.
