Emad Aljahdli Doctor of Gastroenterology
Emad Aljahdli is a medical doctor with a
specialty in Gastroenterology. He was educated
primarily in Saudi Arabia and joined a medical
residency after passing his United States
qualification exams. He completed training in
Gastroenterology, transplant Hepatology, and
Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy at the Beth Israel
Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and works at
his medical residency nearby in Cambridge,
Massachusetts.

Emad Aljahdli was an accomplished medical doctor
in Saudi Arabia before he moved to the Boston
area in 2008. It took him three years to prepare
for the exams he needed to take to practice
medicine in the United States and he eventually
passed all of his tests with flying colors. He
trained in the US at Beth Israel Deaconess
Medical Center in Boston in Gastroenterology,
Transplant Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy,
sitting for his Gastroenterology in June 2015.

Emad Aljahdli Researcher of Colon Cancer
Emad Aljahdli is a Gastroenterology doctor who is
involved in ground-breaking research in the
treatment and diagnosis of colon cancer. After
practicing medicine for years in Saudi Arabia,
Aljahdli moved to the Boston area for increased
opportunities to conduct colon cancer research.
He has a case report in gastric cancer metastasis
from renal cancer that is considered very rare in
medical circles. Dr. Aljahdli also participated
in quality improvement in colonoscopies and the
detection of colon polyps.

Emad Aljahdli Improving the Endoscopic Field
Emad Aljahdli hopes to improve the endoscopic
field in terms of being able to recognize serious
problems such as colon cancer sooner in
development and saving lives before the problems
can mature to more serious concerns. Dr. Aljahdli
has already begun his quest to help the field. He
has participated in many studies and research
projects aimed at improving endoscopy and ways of
detecting GI infection and cancer.
