Overview of Yasmin
  • Yasmin contains drospirenone and ethinyl

prevent the unplanned pregnancy caused due to the
unprotected physical intimacy. It is used in
irregular menstrual cycle and also reduces the
    chances of ovarian cysts.
  • Yasmin functions by stopping ovulation (a process
of release of an egg from an ovary) in females.
It is also makes vaginal fluid thicker, which
helps to prevent the sperm from reaching an egg
and alerts the lining of the uterus which
prevents the attachment of a fertilized egg. If a
fertilized egg has not attached to the uterus,
then it passes out through the body.
