Intake Cap Two Days After Reopening

The Canadian province of Saskatchewan has
updated its application intake thresholds for the
Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) to
reflect the fact that the SINP International
Skilled Workers - Express Entry sub-category has
reached its cap/limit of 500 new applications.
The Express Entry sub-category is the second
sub-category to cap out since that initial update
was made the International Skilled Workers -
Occupations In-Demand sub-category reached its
cap/limit of 500 new applications within
hours.The popular Express Entry sub-category,
which is aligned with the federal Express Entry
immigration selection system, capped out and
reopened on more than one occasion in 2015. While
the SINP website states 'Remaining applications
that will be accepted by the SINP in 2016' for
certain categories, in 2015 the application
intake thresholds for certain sub-categories were
replenished during the year. This may provide
cause for optimism for eligible candidates who
did not manage to submit an application this week.
