What is Dry Eyes?
  • Dry Eyes are a very common complaint in most
    Optometrical consultations.
  • It can be defined as a lack of tears or an
    imbalance in the composition of the tear film in
    the eyes,
  • It can lead to a feeling of grittiness, burning,
    itchiness and ironically can then cause excessive
    tearing.  
  • It may seem ambiguous to both patient and
    practitioner.
