• Among the new models hitting the Indian shores is
  the 2015 BMW X5 SUV. This is the third generation
  version of the popular, successful SUV that first
  made an appearance in 1999.
• Powered by an eight cylinder, three litre diesel

  dashing touches to the X5 SUV. The grille, the
  headlamps, the beefy bumpers and the flowing
  lines all point to a design job done extremely
  well. At 4886 mm length, it is within kissing
  distance of the five metre mark. That means a
  long cabin with three genuine, full fledged rows
  of seats and still enough space for luggage. The
  width, at 1938 mm, is just shy of the two metre
  mark while the height is a handy 1762 mm. With a
  wheelbase of 2933 mm, the X5 is an expansive five
  door SUV with a monocoque chassis standing at a
  respectable 2070 kgs. This calls for large wheels
  and the tyre specifications are 285/35 R21 in the
  front and 325/30 R21 at the back.

• Inside, there are large, plush and well-contoured
  seats, acres of space within, more than ample
  leg, shoulder and head room, many storage options
  the list is endless. The dashboard is no
  different.

• The materials used are the best and the wood
  finish, the leather quality and colour schemes
  all cry out for attention. The touch screen
  console itself is a lavish 10.2 inch interface
  that has not just information like navigation but
  also state of the art entertainment system from
  Harmon Kardon. Other modern amenities like WiFi
  hotspot, BMWs iDrive system and internet radio
