Andrew Stoner is a qualified former MP of New
South Wales. He completed his Bachelors of
Business from the Queensland Institute of
Technology in 1985. After graduation, he enrolled
himself in a Masters of Business Administration
program at James Cook University. He passed his
Masters with first class honours and was awarded
with a scholarship.

He is an experienced politician from Australia
and has been a Member of Parliament for 16 years.
He was also one among Australia's longest-serving
political leaders who led the regionally based
National Party for a long period of time. He has
excellent knowledge of the economic, social and
regulatory environment, and has wide networks
both in business and government.

He led numerous trade missions, particularly to
China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, the United
States, and the Middle East, and the established
new NSW Trade Investment offices in priority
markets. He also led the New South Wales
governments international engagement strategy.
This included trade missions and establishment of
trade offices in priority markets, contributing
to the States growth in exports and inward
investment.

Andrew Stoner, former MP, led development and
implementation of Industry Action Plans in
partnership with prime sectors. These sectors
included advanced manufacturing, agribusiness,
mining, professional services, visitor economy,
digital economy and creative industries. Besides
this, he supervised over 13 billion of
infrastructure in regional NSW particularly road,
rail and water infrastructure. This led to an
increase in the productivity of regional
industries including agriculture and mining.

Besides a rich career in politics, Andrew Stoner
(former MP) also has experience in business. He
is serving as the Director of the consulting
firm, Andrew Stoner Associates. The firm
provides advice on investment including property,
agribusiness, infrastructure and SMEs
government regulation stakeholder relations
relevant social and cultural issues investor and
business migration and export strategy.
