Causes of Sticky Doors

• There are 2 Major Reasons Which Makes The Door
  Lock Sticky
• Rough Edges of the key prevent the proper key
  rotation in the lock mechanism.
• Door locks start sticking due to dirt and dust
  particles within the lock mechanism.

Solution for Rough Key Edges

• Rough edges of key to door lock prevents the
  proper key rotation in the lock mechanism. So we
  fix these rough sections to make our door lock
  work properly.
• Use a Metal File to fix the rough edges. Apply a
  little metal file and then check the key in door.
  Repeat the step till key start rotating fine in
  door lock.
• Note Avoid excess use of metal file because
  excess use can damage the key pattern.

Solution for Sticky Door Caused by Dirt and Dust

• Dirt and Dust also prevent the door lock from
  proper working. So we need to clean apply
  lubrication to fix this to make our door lock
  work properly.
• First Clean and then insert the Machine Oil or
  Powdered Graphite into keyhole. After that insert
  the key into lock and rotate repeatedly to
  lubricate cylinder and lock.
• Also apply some graphite into latch opening .
  Then use door knob to lubricate the area around
  latch
