Jabalpur Jabalpur is a city in the state of
Madhya Pradesh. According to the 2011 census, it
is the third-largest urban agglomeration in
Madhya Pradesh and the countrys 26th-largest
urban agglomeration. Jabalpur has been called
Sanskaar Dhani -the cultural capital of Madhya
Pradesh. Hanumantal Bada Jain Mandiraa
17th-century Jain temple, Madan Mahal a fort
built by the Gondi king Madansahi in 1116, Rani
Durgawati Museum, built in 1964 to commemorate
Rani Durgavati The museum hosts ancient relics,
sculptures and a collection of items related to
Mahatma Gandhi, Dumna Nature Reserve Park,
Rajneesh Ashram are some of the places to visit.
It was great pleasure to visit Jabalpur and
learn about this historical city of India where
Mahatma Gandhi stayed for the longest period
along with other national leaders of that time
