Start of Summer Camp and Intensive

Summer Camp

• Session One of Summer Camp is in full swing at
• Dancers Gallery located in Cooper City
  bordering the Town of Davie in Broward County.
• Campers are three weeks into preparing for their
• end of session performance.
• Many campers are returning students, but there
  are
• also many new to the studio and new to dance.
• The Performing Arts Summer Camp offers so much
• variety, that every dancer can find a favorite
  art form.

• Dancers Gallery not only offers dance during
• summer camp, but also circus arts and acting
  along
• with arts and crafts.
• Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Belly Dance, Contemporary and
  
• Aerial Silks are all offered each week.
• Field trips are taken twice per session. One of
  each
• field trip is art craft related.

• The first field trip in session 1 took the kids
  outside
• of the Cooper City and Davie area for the Wayne
• White Art Exhibit at the Art and Culture Center
  of
• Hollywood.
• Campers were able to learn more about this
• puppetry and visual artist and also create their
  own
• works of art.
• Dancers Gallery specializes in dance and
  performing
• arts, but finds it important to expose campers
  to all
• types of art, including visual.

• The second field trip for session 1 will be to
  the
• Paradise Cove Water Park at CB Smith Park in
• Pembroke Pines so they can enjoy some fun in the
  
• sun before the long weekend.
• As campers prepare for their upcoming performance
  
• in front of friends and family, they are making
  new
• friends that could very well last a lifetime.
• They are also finding new hobbies and interests
• while exploring the performing arts.

• When the summer ends, campers will make a
• smooth transition into their new dance classes
  for
• the fall.
• The Summer Intensive is completing their first
  week
• and it has definitely been intense, but so
  rewarding
• for the dancers.
• This intermediate to advanced program is a
  full-time
• schedule with a concentration in ballet,
• contemporary and all around technique.
