In Vitro Fertilization
A wonderful achievement in the reproductive
science, In Vitro Fertilization is the best
treatment suggested for certain kinds of
infertility treatments. It is the original test-
tube baby technique where an egg is fertilized
with the sperm in laboratory under certain
conditions. The technique was specifically
developed for females with blocked or damaged

What does IVF Treatment Involve?
The IV treatment basically consists of a sequence
of procedures often called as IVF treatment
cycle. Certain hormonal injections are used to
stimulate the ovaries in order to produce several
follicles. The follicles are collected as eggs
which are then fertilized with processed sperm to
create embryos. Once embryos are formed, healthy
ones are transferred into the females womb for
implantation or further pregnancy.

  all other ART methods have failed or not produce
  any result.

• Male infertility factor like low sperm counts
• Endometriosis
• Ovulation issues

• Just like any other medical treatment, IVF is not
  free from risks, however risks are rarely occur
  and minor if the treatment is performed under
  experienced fertility specialist at good

• Occurrence of multiple pregnancies due to
  transferring two or more embryos just to ensure
  the establishment of pregnancy
• In some cases ovaries can lead to OHSS (ovarian
  hyperstimulation syndrome) because of the drugs
  used to stimulate the ovaries in IVF treatment.
• In egg retrieval process, a needle is used to
  remove the mature eggs that can introduce the
  infection into the body.
