2Joyce Asabor is a Co-Pastor of a Ministry
(Church) as well as the head of the Women's
Ministry LADIES (Love All Despite InadequaciES).
Her areas of specialization include coaching
breast feeding moms and public, Hand Hygiene
along with handling community health issues in
general. She possesses more than 10 years of
experience as a registered nurse.
3She completed a 2 year diploma from CUNY Medgar
Evers College in 1999 and then received a
Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Molloy
College situated in Rockville Center, Long Island.
4After completing her Bachelor's, Joyce Asabor did
a Legal Nurse Consultant diploma from Wagner
College. Recently, she received her Masters in
Administration with specialization in Health
services from Central Michigan University. In
addition to this, she received a scholarship from
Lincoln Hospital Nurses' Alumni while doing her
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program from
Medgar Evers College. She received the Best in
Clinical Award in 1999.
5LPN is a program designed to provide learners
with the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and
judgments to the comprehensive range of
competencies. This course provides a learning
experience which is professional, integrated,
culturally sensitive, and collaborative with an
aim to prepare aspirants to care for families and
individuals in a range of practice settings and
at multiple life stages under the supervision of
health care professionals.
6Joyce Asabor's certification, include CLC-
Healthy Children Project Center For
Breastfeeding, ACLS and BCLS- American Heart
Association/American Stroke Association. She
supports a number of charitable causes, including
My Home Church, Glory Of God International
Church, and more.
7Ms. Asabor is currently involved in encouraging
youths in her community to get more involved in
building a strong healthy community by not
engaging in unhealthy habits that could later
impact their health and impact on their career
paths in the future. She is currently in
collaboration with her Church to see how youths
could spend more of their free time doing more
productive activities like sports and vocational
trainings.
